REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANT.

Osmosis describes the selective movement of solvents from one side of a semi-permeable membrane to the other. In the reversal process, pressure is applied to feed water with a high concentration of dissolved solids, forcing water through the membrane.
Dissolved solids however cannot move across the membrane and the resultant water that is transferred through the membrane to the other side is pure to a significant degree. An efficient Reverse Osmosis system removes dissolved solids like salt, inorganic contamination etc., as well as viruses and bacteria without necessitating toxic chemical treatment
